A few pictures from our day...

We have a new student, Ashton. We are very excited to have him in our class! :)

We did Carson's name today. We talked about how Carson starts with C and thought of other words that start with the letter C. We also counted the letters in Carson's first and last name. I will send these charts home after we have hung them in the classroom for a couple weeks.

Before worktime, the kids got to shine the flashlight on the area they wanted to work at. The flash makes it look like it was light in the room, but we actually had the lights off. They also got to talk in the microphone! Our classroom is set up for a sound system, so it is a REAL microphone!! :)

Today we went to the computer lab. Our computer lab teacher is Mrs. Mallory. The kids got to "build their own aquarium" on the computer.

We had a great 2nd week! One of our students left this week and we already got a new student, Ashton. We are very excited to have him in our class. The other students were so sweet to welcome him!

We did it!

We made it through our first week of school and I can't wait for the next! I have enjoyed getting to know your children this past week and I can't wait for more! Check out the tabs to the left. I posted pictures of classroom jobs and some pictures that go along with our daily schedule.

This week we learned how to use many of our centers. Right now the choices are; house area, some of the block area, markers/paper, books and an activity we put out on one of the tables. Students get to "play" with any of these centers during work time. Check out what they have been up to during work time:

We also celebrated Miss. Caroline's Birthday! She is now 4! We enjoyed cupcakes at the end of the day Friday. It was a sweet ending to a fun, busy week!
